Help > IQMESH network creating > Bonding (including a Node into the network) > Autonetwork

IQRF network can even be created (bonding, Discovery) fully automatically.

The Node to be bonded need not be in direct RF range with the Coordinator but must be in direct RF range with at least one already discovered Node or with the one which is supposed to be discovered (during the previous waves). If the Node has routing disabled, Autonetwork can be performed even in the direct range with the Coordinator. Then the Node can be relocated in its final position afterwards and subsequent Discovery is not necessary.

No action (DPA menu item selection) is needed on the Node side.

All Nodes to be bonded must have specified the same Access Password as the Coordinator.

The Autonetwork is available as:

A service implemented in IQRF IDE

A service implemented in IQRF GW Daemon

The network creation passes in waves. In every wave the following operations are performed:

Prebonding (assigning the temporary address 254).

  Authorization (assigning the logical address).

  Verification of bonded Nodes.

  Discovery (creation of routing structure).

In the first wave, the Nodes in direct RF range with the Coordinator are included in the network. In the next waves, all Nodes already included in the network participates in the network extension.

To create a network using Autonetwork, follow the steps:

1.     Install the Nodes (place them to the final location).

2.     Invoke the Autonetwork process.

3.     Test and finalize the network.
