Network enumeration
Help > IQMESH network creating > Network testing and finalization > Network enumeration

Network enumeration is a recommended step to keep a track of the network (not only when it is newly created). The main purpose is to read out, check and archive information (e.g. IQRF OS and DPA versions, HWPIDs, TR configuration, implemented peripherals, …) about all devices in the given network for future reference. To keep the archived data always up-to-date, the network Enumeration must be performed after every significant change such as adding or removing a Node, performing Discovery, change in TR configuration, firmware upgrade, etc.

The network enumeration is implemented as a service (a group of DPA commands) available in IQRF IDE or IQRF GW Daemon.
