Examples of the address assigment when using the MID list and Address space features.
•The Overlapping networks feature is disabled.
oCurrent network already contains Nodes with addresses: 1, 3, 7
oThe Address space: 3, <5,8>, <10,20>
oThe MID filtering must be disabled to be not listed MIDs (in the MID list) added to the network.
| Assigned address | ||
|---|---|---|
| Address space disabled | Address space enabled | |
| 81ABCD01;5 | 5 | 5 |
| 81ABCD02;8 | 8 | 8 |
| 81ABCD03 | [a] | [b] |
| 81ABCD04 | [a] | [b] |
| 81ABCD05;9 | 9 | not bonded |

|---|---|---|
| 81ABCD06 | [a] | [b] |
| 81ABCD07 | [a] | [b] |
| 81ABCD08 | [a] | [b] |
[a] One of addresses 2, 4, 6, 10, 11.
[b] One of addresses 6, 10, 11, 12, 13.
Depending on the order in which a Node with given MID was found.
•The Overlapping networks feature is enabled.
oThe Number of networks parameter is set to 2.
oCurrent network 1 already contains Nodes with addresses: 1, 3, 7
oCurrent network 2 is empty.
oAddresses specified in the MID list file are ignored.
oThe Address space: 3, <5,8>, <10,20>
oThe MID filtering cannot be used.

[d] One of addresses 3, 5, 6, 7.
Depending on the order in which a Node with given MID was found.
•Practical example 1
Create a network with 4 repeaters at addresses 1, 2, 3, 4 and 20 sensors from address 50:
oAddress space: <1,4>, <50,69>
oMID list:
81ABCD06;1
81ABCD09;2
81ABCD0A;3
81ABCD0E;4
oMID filtering disabled
•Practical example 2
Add more sensors to the existing network from the example 1:
oAddress space: <50,239> or <70,239>
oMID list: disabled
