         The return value is an unsigned 4-byte wide value, the unit is 1 s, the resolution is 1 s. The value is a widely used Unix time i.e. “number of seconds that have elapsed since 00:00:00 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), 1 January 1970, minus the number of leap seconds that have taken place since then”. The range is from 1 January 1970 to 7 February 2106 07:28:14 GMT. Value 0xFFFFFFFF (i.e. 7 February 2106 07:28:15 GMT GMT) specifies a sensor error.

Please note the value is unsigned and does not cover dates before 1 January 1970.
